Last year, Roland Clan brought you an enormous amount of new stuff: elegant site redesign with a news channel, library section with unique gear finder, numerous forum enhancements, new video and PDF tutorials and tons of sound downloads. And you can now help us go further and make Roland Clan even bigger and better!
To celebrate our 7th anniversary, we are running a fundraising campaign to gather $1500 by April, which is needed to make the site stay online and keep it developing. System update 1.03 is now available for the Roland JUNO-Di synthesizer, which addresses several minor issues, such as one connected with keyboard velocity sensitivity. The new software and update instructions can be reached via the "Software update" link on the JUNO-Di page in the Roland Clan library.

Roland Corp. just published two new videos giving an in-depth introduction of the features and various applications of the recently-introduced VP-7 vocal processor. In these demos you will see how to use the VP-7 in different setups with it's choir player, harmonizer and vocal designer engines.

Great news for all Roland users worldwide come from Roland UK who have opened a large FTP archive which contains support data for virtually all Roland instruments ever produced. Here you will find not only PDF user manuals, but also software updates and original quick start tutorials - even for earlier digital instruments such as JV and XP series.

Good news for the Fantom-G users come from Roland US which just announced the release of no less than six new workshop booklets - collections of downloadable tutorials which are more simple to understand than the full-blown user manual. The added titles include: Manipulating Sounds in Realtime, Studio Mode, Sequencing and Recording, Perfecting Songs, MIDI Tracks, and Audio Tracks, Playing Clips from the Fantom-G Pads, Adding Live Audio to the Fantom-G and Using the Fantom-G with a Computer. You can download the new workshop tutorials in PDF format from the "Support" section of the Fantom-G page at the Roland US website.
